#79 POKC (People of Kheng Chew)

Another set of long lost snapshots retrieved from the data archive, POKC, short for People of Kheng Chew, revels the Hainanese heritage and roots with its delightful culinary menu.

Situated at Damansara Uptown, POKC is a beauty. Minimalist design with a touch of exquisite industrial-look, the modern interpretation of furnitures is written all across the two-floor cafe.

Cappuccino (RM 10, Pre-Opening Special Price: RM 6) 

Pulled by the very friendly and attentive head barista Sima, the cappuccino of Papa Palheta's Throwback blend was a pleasant cup.

Hainanese Grilled Koi (RM 18)

Hainanese-style grilled chicken topped with cheese and Orlando cheese sauce. The grilled chicken is tender and juicy, but the cheese sauce tasted a bit too watery to me.
