#46 Hotodogu

Gourmet hotdogs are the main attractions here at Hotodogu. With its maiden branch opened at Cyberjaya's Shaftsbury Square, Hotodogu ventures gallantly into the city by having its second outlet opened at The Gardens, Mid Valley.

The Hotodogu (RM 10.90)

Be it chicken or beef, the signature hot dog have both options covered in Japanese elements such as seaweed flakes, wasabi-mayo and teriyaki sauce. Such weird combination has brought upon a taste of incompatibility. The texture of the sausage does no justice to the garnishes above, and the only salvation seems to be the scentful wasabi-mayo.

Chilli Cheese Dog (RM 11.90)

My friend ordered a conventional Chilli Cheese Dog, which was rather spicy thanks to its house-made spicy chilli beef sauce. Notable American garnishes include onions, yellow mustard, jalapeno peppers and grated cheddar cheese. Obviously an option much better than my gastronomic misstep that is the Hotodogu.
