Being one of the earliest prominent Hokkien Mee purveyors around, Ah Yap's version of charcoal fire-cooked Hokkien Mee uses fat noodles. Apart from that, the dish is abound with sight of crunchy lards, prawns, pork slices and vegetables. Stir-cooked with enough 'wok hei', the fragrance was intense and sure to whet one's appetite.
